Number Porting Instructions

If you would like to migrate your existing number(s) over to 2talk, please read the below instructions carefully. All port documents and requests should be sent to support@2talk.com. Should you have any questions regarding this process, please feel free to call our support team at 1-800-283-1332.

Porting Local Numbers:

We require 2 documents per account:

1) A Local letter of authorization (LOA) filled out and signed by the authorized user on the account.

2) A copy of the end users most recent bill.

Assuming all of the information provided is accurate, the porting SLA for local numbers is approximately 7-10 business days. Time frames will vary based on the losing carrier. You may also request a specific port date if the date is 10-30 days out. You will receive advance notice for when a local number will complete.


Porting Toll Free Numbers:

We require 1 document per account:

1) A Toll free letter of authorization (LOA) signed by the authorized user on the account.

Though a copy of the end users most recent bill is not required, this can still be requested by the losing carrier so we recommend you attach this as well if possible.

Toll free numbers typically port sooner than local lines. We do not get advanced notice for toll free completion dates so make sure to plan accordingly. These numbers should be added to the account right after the port is submitted to avoid downtime.


Vanity Numbers

If you are looking for a specific number (i.e. containing certain digits or patterns) or a block of continuous numbers then please email support@2talk.com with your number preferences and account details and we will do our best to accommodate your request.*

*Vanity number requests will be $15 per number. Subject to change.
