Purpose

The Overseas Block feature safeguards your phone system against unauthorized or fraudulent international calling. By preventing outbound calls to overseas destinations, the organization reduces exposure to excessive costs and mitigates risks of toll fraud. Domestic calls remain unaffected, allowing safe operation while protecting budgets and system integrity.

How to Navigate

Log in to the 2talk portal. Then, go to:
SwitchBoard | Outbound | Overseas Block section.

How to Configure

  • Enable the Overseas Block feature using the toggle switch
  • Note: The system indicates “Overseas block is inactive” when the feature is disabled.
  • Configure Account Threshold Settings (for example, “50 calls per hour”)
  • Set call volume limits and monitoring parameters
  • Click SAVE to activate overseas blocking
  • Monitor call patterns and adjust thresholds as traffic changes
  • Test an international call attempt to verify that blocking is working properly
