We understand that starting with a new service can be overwhelming, but we’re here to make it a breeze. Our step-by-step guide will take you the basics.

Let’s get started on your journey to seamless communication today!

Step 1

Bring your numbers or add new ones.

To start making and receiving calls, you’ll need to add numbers to your 2talk account. Go to your Switchboard, click on Add numbers and select the location you want numbers from.

If you’re porting in numbers you were using with other providers, they’ll appear on the Switchboard once the process is complete. If you haven’t yet requested the numbers to be ported in, fill out the Number Porting form to get started.

Step 2

Invite your team.

In the Cloud PBX managament portal, go to Profile > Contact information. When you click on Create new users, you’ll be able to send invites entering everyone’s email address.

Attach one or more phone numbers to each of your invited users to get them connected as soon as they complete their profile.

Step 3

Set up features and call flow.

Switchboard is the go-to place to set up all the features that come with your 2talk numbers. Under each number, you can create Call Queues, add Music on Hold, configure your IVR, and so much more!

It’s not all up to the admins: every user, including a standard one, can log in to the Cloud PBX management portal and set up their call flow (with some limitations).

Step 4

Get your devices ready…

If you have deskphones and other VoIP-enabled devices on your network, take this opportunity to set them up. 2talk offers automatic provisioning for certain models from Yealink and Poly. If you’re using a device from other manufacturers, manual setup might be required.
