Purpose

Call Parking places an active call into a shared parking lot so it can be retrieved from any extension. This supports inter-department transfers, extended holds, and team pickup from different locations without tying the call to a single device.

How to Navigate

Log in to the 2talk portal. Then, go to:
SwitchBoard | Advanced | Call Parking section.

How to Configure

  • Enable Call Parking using the main toggle switch.
  • Configure the first extension number (e.g., “700”) to set the starting parking slot.
  • Set Parking slots quantity (e.g., “10 slots”) to define simultaneous parked call capacity.
  • Configure Parking Time duration (e.g., “50 sec”) to set the timeout before return.
  • Set Return call to (e.g., “The number that parked”) to define the return target on timeout.
  • Configure Group settings (e.g., “DO NOT USE”) to organize who can access parking.
