Campaign Registration

Register an SMS campaign for 10DLC by describing your use case, messages, opt-in process, and compliance details.

Campaign registration is required before most U.S. business SMS traffic can be sent through 10DLC. A campaign tells carriers how your organization plans to use SMS, what customers should expect to receive, and how recipients can opt in or opt out.

Before you start

  • Register your brand first.
  • Prepare a clear campaign description.
  • Prepare sample messages that match what you will actually send.
  • Make sure your opt-in method is documented and easy to verify.
  • Make sure your opt-out instructions explain that recipients can reply STOP.

Register a campaign

  1. Log in to your 2talk account.
  2. Go to Tools > SMS.
  3. Select your registered brand.
  4. Choose Add Campaign.
  5. Enter the campaign use case, description, sample messages, opt-in details, and opt-out instructions.
  6. Review the information carefully, then submit the campaign.

What to include

  • Use case: The business reason for sending SMS.
  • Audience: Who receives the messages.
  • Opt-in method: How recipients agree to receive messages.
  • Opt-out method: How recipients stop messages, such as replying STOP.
  • Sample messages: Realistic examples that match the use case.
  • Frequency: How often recipients should expect messages.

Campaign reviews are handled by the messaging ecosystem, not only by 2talk. Incomplete opt-in details, vague sample messages, or mismatched use cases can delay approval.
