Configure a Polycom Phone Manually

Manually configure a Polycom phone with 2talk SIP settings when Device Provisioning is not used.

Use manual configuration when the Polycom phone is not configured through 2talk Device Provisioning.

Open the Polycom web interface

  1. On the phone, press Home.
  2. Go to Settings > Status > Network > TCP/IP Parameters.
  3. Copy the phone’s IP address.
  4. Enter the IP address in a browser on the same network.
  5. Go to Settings > Lines and select the line to configure.

Enter SIP settings

  • SIP Protocol: Enabled
  • Display Name: User or location name
  • Address: Full 2talk phone number
  • Label: Label shown on the phone
  • User ID: Full 2talk phone number
  • Password: Number password from your 2talk account
  • SIP Server 1: plus.2talk.com
  • Expires: 180 seconds
