Configure the Bria x-Lite Softphone

Register a 2talk number in Bria or older X-Lite softphones using manual SIP settings.

Bria and older X-Lite softphones can register a 2talk number as a standard SIP account. Use this guide when the app asks for manual SIP settings.

Bria and X-Lite

  1. Download and install the softphone on your computer.
  2. Add a new SIP account or open the account settings for the 2talk number.
  3. Username: Your full 2talk phone number
  4. Password: [your password].
  5. Domain: plus.2talk.com
  6. Topology: Firewall > None.
  7. Reregister Settings: Change the reregister interval from 3600 to 240 seconds.
  8. Save the account and confirm that the line registers.

If your app asks for an authorization name or authentication ID, enter the full 2talk phone number.
