Grandstream GXW 450x

Connect a PBX to 2talk over E1/T1 using a Grandstream GXW 450x gateway.

Grandstream GXW 450x gateways can connect a PBX to 2talk over E1/T1. These gateways are typically preconfigured before installation, then completed remotely after they come online.

Installation overview

  1. Connect the gateway WAN port to internet access.
  2. Confirm that the WAN light shows connectivity.
  3. Allow 2talk or your installer to complete the remote configuration.
  4. Connect the T1 crossover cable between the gateway E1/T1 port and the PBX T1 port.
  5. Confirm that the gateway front panel shows the T1 connection.
  6. Test inbound and outbound calling.

The GXW commonly uses 9 as the outbound dial prefix by default. Do not use 1 as the prefix because the gateway reserves it for inbound calls.
