Polycom Factory Reset

Factory reset a Polycom phone when old settings or provisioning issues cannot be fixed through normal setup.

Factory reset a Polycom phone when it has old settings, unknown configuration, or provisioning problems that cannot be fixed through normal setup.

Warning: A factory reset removes existing phone settings.

Factory reset from the phone

  1. Press the Home button.
  2. Go to Settings > Advanced.
  3. Enter the admin password.
  4. Go to Administration Settings > Reset to Defaults.
  5. Select Reset to Factory.
  6. Confirm the reset and wait for the phone to restart.

Note: Factory reset is performed from the phone menu, not the web interface.
