Call Waiting

Enable Call Waiting so users can answer a second incoming call while the first call is placed on hold.

Call Waiting lets you answer a second incoming call while you are already on another call. The first call is placed on hold while you answer the new call.

Enable Call Waiting

  1. Log in to your 2talk account.
  2. Go to Switchboard.
  3. Select the number you want to configure.
  4. Go to Inbound > Call Waiting.
  5. Turn Call Waiting On.
  6. Click Save.

Behavior

  • Call Waiting is enabled by default on most lines.
  • If Call Waiting is disabled, the second caller receives a busy response.

Short codes

  • *61: Activate Call Waiting.
  • *81: Deactivate Call Waiting.
