Conference Calls

A conference bridge lets multiple callers join the same audio conference room. Use it when you need a simple dial-in meeting option from a 2talk number.

Set up a conference number

1. Log in to your 2talk account.
2. Go to Switchboard.
3. Select the number you want to use as the conference number.
4. Select Inbound > Conferencing.
5. Choose the conference settings and allowed callers.
6. Click Save.

To make the room private, allow only selected caller numbers to join the conference.

If you choose Allow selected callers, add each permitted caller number in the allowed-caller list.

Conference recordings

Conferences can be recorded when call recording is enabled. The recording is sent to the email address configured on the number. If the number does not have an email address, the recording is sent to the account email address.

Enable call recording for conferences

1. Go to Switchboard.
2. Select the conference number.
3. Select Advanced > Call Recording.
4. Choose the recording settings.
5. Click Save.
