Time Schedules

Use time schedules to route inbound calls differently during business hours, after hours, weekends, or holidays.

Time Schedules let you shape inbound call routing around your hours of operation. Use schedules to ring different destinations during business hours, send after-hours calls to voicemail, or run special routing on weekends and holidays.

Available schedules

  • Work hours – your standard business hours.
  • Available hours – times when you’re reachable on top of normal work hours.
  • User-defined hours – any custom schedule, such as weekend coverage or US public holidays.

Configure a Time Schedule

  1. Log in to your 2talk account.
  2. Go to Switchboard and select the number.
  3. Go to Preferences > Time Schedules.
  4. Set the days and times for each schedule you want to use.
  5. Click Save.

Most inbound calling features can be tied to a Time Schedule so they only trigger during the hours you choose:
